“SoundSkool has had a transformative effect on our students, helping them to unleash their creative talent. As well as teaching our students specific music creation and production software skills, SoundSkool has helped to embed broader collaborative skills and fostered a collaborative and caring spirit within the boys who participate. The programme has helped build a sense of worth, value and achievement for all of the students who take part. Our teachers have regularly observe students who struggle to engage with learning in lessons, grow in confidence and enthusiasm for learning when engaging with SoundSkool, sometimes skipping breaks and lunch so that they can spend more time creating music and helping each other out. We have seen students flourish and develop and even those boys who felt that they have had no musical talent or interest have been coaxed and encouraged and become avid SoundSkool devotees.
SoundSkool also provides our students with a platform to articulate their feelings and develop a more positive world view, which is of such importance in these challenging times. The SoundSkool team, led by Max are consummate professionals, who help the boys with their musical ambitions in a warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and engaging manner. One of our students had one of his tracks selected as 'track of the month' on the site, out of the multitude of other submissions. He told us that it was the proudest moment in his life.
