With a passion for empowering young people through education and the arts, Desiri is an experienced English teacher and author. After beginning her career as a New York attorney, Desiri transitioned into teaching, writing, and inspiring others through creativity and the arts. She now works as an English teacher and creative facilitator, engaging students through literature and writing.

Her journey as a creative has been marked by her contributions to the literary world. As the author of several inspiring books, including Diaries of a Visionary: Inspiring Dreams and Kitsu’s Diary: The Things I Wish I Knew When I Was Fifteen, Desiri’s books address many of the challenges faced by young
people, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with confidence and purpose.

Holding an MA in Education and Creative Writing, she brings a unique perspective to her teaching. This qualification has shaped her innovative approach to inspiring students through storytelling and literature. At SoundSkool, Desiri draws on her wealth of experience to nurture the next
generation of creative thinkers and dreamers.
