Last Wednesday 6th October was SoundSkool’s launch party at our new home at SoapBox in Old Street, Islington. The launch event was a celebration of our move to SoapBox and a way of telling the world what is happening!
We welcomed special guests Mayor Troy, The Young Mayor Rosie, Councillor Phil Graham and Councillor Valerie Bossman-Quarshie. The support that SoundSkool has received from all of the councillors and the local borough has been truly fantastic.
We also welcomed some music management companies, local businesses, local community organisations, alumni students, friends, parents/guardians and supporters.
Our talented, amazing students provided 30mins of acoustic music and we had drinks, networking and information on the evening too.
The story has also been picked up by the Islington Tribune.
